Běh okolo Špilberku

The run around Špilberk is a traditional race in Brno, offering an interesting circuit around Špilberk Castle. The race is open to men, women, and children of all ages and takes place in the pleasant early evening. Men run five laps of 1.3 km each, women three laps, and children have a course length adjusted to their age. After the race, refreshments and a place to store belongings are provided. The entry fee is a favorable 150 CZK, and registration takes place directly on-site before the race.

Registration begins at 17:15 directly at the race site. The children's race starts at 17:45, and the main race for men and women at 18:00. After finishing, water and a storage tent are available. Transportation options include car (limited parking spaces), trolleybus lines 25, 26 (Tvrdého stop), and tram lines 5, 6, 12 (Šilingrovo nám. stop). Participants run at their own risk. The race offers post-race refreshments, parking near the castle, and various routes for all age groups.
