Race description
The Kangaroo Run is a traditional cross-country race in Olomouc-Hejčín, held annually at the end of September. The race is designed for children, youth, and adult athletes, and is part of the Olomouc Region Children's and Youth Running Cup and the Olomouc Region Endurance Runners Grand Prix. Men run 9 km, women 7 km, and shorter distances are available for children according to age categories. The event is not only sporting but also social, with accompanying activities for children and parents, including games, scooter rides, puzzles, and a raffle. Registration takes place at the U Travise Inn by the Mill Stream.

Registration takes place at the U Travise Inn. The accompanying program includes scooter rides, sack jumping, puzzles, horse riding, a photo booth with a kangaroo, an educational trail about kangaroos, a performance by the band 3+1, and a raffle with valuable prizes.
