Race description
Chernyák is a trail race run along the paths of the Black Forest near Zelená Hora and the surrounding meadows towards Vysoký. The 7 km course with an elevation gain of 180 meters offers varied terrain with 90% off-road surface and 10% asphalt, reminiscent of Scottish fell running races. The race is popular among local runners and features beautiful views of the town Žďár nad Sázavou and the UNESCO monument - the pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk at Zelená Hora. The start and finish are at the parking lot by the church at Zelená Hora. The entry fee is donated to a charity collection for a sports prosthesis for student Alex Vondra.
