Olympijský běh - Červená Lhota

The Olympic Run in Červená Lhota is a traditional race that starts at the fairy-tale Červená Lhota Castle. Participants will run along the blue tourist trail through the villages of Samosoly, Pohoří, and the dam of the Kardaš pond, mainly on field and forest paths. The start is ceremoniously initiated with a shot from a historical firearm, and by participating, you support the Czech Olympic Foundation. The race is open to adults over 15 years old and offers a pleasant sporting atmosphere with refreshments provided by volunteer firefighters.

The start and finish are at different locations: start at Červená Lhota Castle, finish in Kardašova Řečice at the cider house. Participants are transported by bus from the registration site (Kardašova Řečice cider house) to the start. There are changing rooms, a storage area, and toilets available; showers are not provided. Refreshments are arranged by volunteer firefighters. The race is started with a shot from a historical firearm by the castle steward. Registration is only available online; on-site registration is not possible. The race is for runners over 15 years old; younger participants are not permitted at this location. Timing is measured with a chip timing system. Terrain: field and forest paths. Registration deadline: June 7, 2026. Start time: at Červená Lhota Castle at 18:00. Race distance: 9.2 km. Age requirement: from 15 years old. No participation for disabled or under 15. Transportation: bus from Kardašova Řečice. Facilities: changing rooms, storage, toilets; no showers.
