Sokolský běh republiky - Písek

The Sokol Race of the Republic in Písek is a traditional event held on October 28th in honor of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The race offers a course for adults measuring 5.35 km, leading through the picturesque environment of Palackého Sady, across Kamenný Bridge, and along the river. For children, shorter distances from 100 m to 1.5 km are available, running on paved and asphalt paths. At the finish line, all participants receive a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic and a starter pack with gifts. The main race is limited to 150 runners, with on-site registration available if capacity has not been reached.

The race time is measured with professional timing equipment. The starter pack includes a race number and gifts from organizers and partners.
