Race description
The Border Runner is a traditional and prestigious uphill running race held in the picturesque environment near the forest theater at Úhlava in Nýrsko. The 5 km course with an elevation gain of 380 meters passes through the ruins of Pajrek Castle and ends at the top of Hraničář with a stunning view of Ostrý Hill. The race is part of the Czech Uphill Running Cup and has been held again since 2020 after a three-year break. After the race, participants must return to the start on their own.
