Race description
The Christmas Run Opava is a traditional running race organized by the BěhOpava - spolek team. The race takes place on a 4.7 km course leading from Englišova Street towards Gappay (Latarna) along a rural asphalt road with several turns and returning back to the finish line. The course is marked with kilometer signs to help runners monitor their performance. The race is open to various age categories from pupils to men in several age groups. Organizers provide small prizes for the top runners and hold a raffle for additional prizes.

Additional information
The course record is held by Petr Gebel from 1994 with a time of 13:39. The race is run at your own risk with a warning to be cautious when crossing roads and to follow the instructions of the organizers. The finish line judges are members and supporters of the BěhOpava association. The race takes place on an asphalt course with a slight incline, starting at Školní statek, and is complemented by small prizes and a commemorative run.
