Valašské kilo

Valašské Kilo is a challenging 100 km ultramarathon run through the beautiful and hilly landscape of Wallachia with at least 3,500 meters of elevation gain. The race is a challenge not only for experienced athletes but also for those who want to push their limits and experience an adventure in the terrain. After a mass start at 22:00, participants plan their own route between control points within a 30-hour time limit. The race headquarters is at ZŠ Žerotínova in Valašské Meziříčí, where a gymnasium, showers, and a dining hall are available. Valašské Kilo offers freedom and space for navigation in the terrain and is one of the best ultramarathons in the Czech Republic.

The race has a 30-hour time limit. Participants receive a card with control points at the start, which they must visit. The race facilities are open from approximately 16:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Sunday and include a gymnasium, showers, dining hall, drinking water, and a luggage storage. Each participant must provide their own route map. The race focuses on endurance walking and running, emphasizing resilience and the ability to handle the demanding terrain in the Wallachia region.
