Race description

The Olympic Run in Strakonice is a traditional sporting event held for the third time at the Podskalí camp. The race offers routes for adults and children, with adults running 4 km on a combination of natural and asphalt paths. For children, races are prepared for 350 m and 1.2 km with an accompanying Olympic program. The start of the main race is at 6:00 PM, and part of the registration fee is donated to the Czech Olympic Foundation. The event is suitable for all age groups and promotes the joy of movement and a good cause.

Registrations are only available online until June 5, 2026; on-site registration will not be possible. The main race will be started via the Czech Radio broadcast. The route is not wheelchair or handbike accessible. Facilities include toilets, showers, and Pivovar parking. The race capacity is 100 adults and 100 children. Children up to 6 years run 350 m, older children 1.2 km. A donation of 20 CZK to the Czech Olympic Foundation is included in the registration fee. The adult route is intended for those born in 2010 or earlier. Children born in 2011 or later can participate with parental consent. Registration only online until June 5, 2026. Start and finish at the Podskalí camp, Pivovar parking, with an Olympic-themed program for children.
