Náchod - Dobrošov

Military Fortress Dobrošov is located near the town of Náchod in the Kladské Pomezí area in the Orlické Mountains. The fortress is an important part of Czechoslovakia's border fortifications and offers visitors tours of the main bunkers, ammunition depot, barracks, and infirmary. An educational trail runs through the entire fortress, guiding visitors along the line of fortifications to Běloves Spa. The surrounding area is rich in hiking and cycling trails, allowing visitors to explore the beauty of the Orlické Mountains and nearby historic towns.

Parking at the fortress is free. The visitor center, including restrooms, closes 60 minutes before the end of opening hours. There are 171 steps leading to the underground, with a constant temperature of 6°C. Group size is limited to a maximum of 28 people. The last tour begins 90 minutes before closing. Accommodation options in family pensions and mountain hotels are available in Deštná in the Orlické Mountains. The race is part of the regional sports calendar, with participants able to use the surrounding hiking and cycling trails. Exact registration details and race length have not yet been published.
