Kosiřské žiganec

Kosiřské žiganec is a traditional running race held in Drahanovice on Velký Kosíř, which is part of the Great Prize of endurance runners of the Olomouc Region. The race offers courses of 10 km and 5 km running through fields and forest paths with mild to moderate elevation gain. There are shorter runs for children of 400 and 1500 meters. The event is open to the general public and, besides the sporting experience, offers refreshments and entertainment after the race. The start and registration take place at the football field, with results announcement and prizes for the best runners in individual categories.

Registration for the main race is only possible via www.liga100.cz, children's categories register on site. The capacity for the 10 km race is limited to 150 participants. The race is accompanied by medical services and each participant runs at their own risk. Refreshments and entertainment are provided after the race. Special prizes are awarded for the best runners in categories as well as for the fastest medical personnel and local residents. Registration takes place on site, races are open to all age groups, race day includes registration, start times, and winners announcement.
