Race description
The Jesenický Marathon is a legendary and challenging mountain marathon in the Czech Republic, held in the Jeseníky Mountains since 2009. The race offers the same course for both the marathon and half-marathon each year, which varies due to changing weather and mountain terrain. Runners traverse the ridges of forested mountains, passing springs, rainforests, stone seas, and peat bogs, creating a unique atmosphere and challenge. The Jesenický Marathon is intended for experienced endurance athletes who want to conquer the highest mountains of Moravia and Silesia.

Additional information
The race limit is 700 runners. The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours and 30 minutes. Refreshments are provided at several stations with water, isotonic drinks, fruit, and energy foods. At the finish line, there is an option to purchase hot meals and drinks. Runners with valid registration by June 30, 2026, will receive a T-shirt unless they choose otherwise. The organizer may cancel the race in case of adverse weather conditions without compensation. The course is mountain terrain with refreshments at two stations, free parking, free bus transportation from the start, a time limit, and an age limit of 18+.
