Geofyzikální běh

The Geophysics Run is a traditional running event organized by the Geophysical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, held in the picturesque environment of Krč Forest in Prague 4. This run has a long history dating back to 1985 and offers a sporting experience in nature with a scientific background. The event is suitable for the general public and combines sports activity with the popularization of geophysics and natural sciences.

Akce je pořádána Geofyzikálním ústavem AV ČR a je součástí společenských aktivit ústavu. Běh se koná pravidelně v září a je spojen s popularizací vědy a geofyziky. Na webu jsou uvedeny i další aktivity ústavu, ale konkrétní informace o registraci a startovném nejsou zveřejněny. Závod se koná každoročně, účastní se ho jak vědci, tak běžci z veřejnosti, a je součástí širší série běhů v Praze.
