Cena Metuje

The Metuje Race is a traditional 10 km road run held in Nové Město nad Metují as part of the PRIMÁTOR CUP running series. This 65th edition also features races for youth in various age categories. The course runs along an asphalt road through the valley of the Metuje River to Peklo and back, providing a pleasant yet challenging running experience. The race is suitable for the general public, including children, parents, and grandparents, who can collect points within the series. The winners are announced both in children's categories and in the main race, with monetary and material prizes.

Registration is only available online at sportchallenge.cz, including on the race day until 8:00 AM. The race office is open on race day from 8:00 AM at the Sokolovna in Nové Město nad Metují. SK Nové Město nad Metují members have free entry. Children can earn points within the PRIMÁTOR CUP series and receive rewards for participation. Children's races are divided into categories from 9:00 to 10:30, with the main race starting at 10:45. Winners are announced at 10:45 (children's categories) and at 12:00 (main race). The race is part of the Primátor Cup 2025 series and the Grand Prix of Eastern Bohemia, including various age categories and offering prizes and certificates.
