Běh o Ludgerův meč

The Ludger's Sword Run is the third edition of a running race organized by the Náchod Running Club in cooperation with the municipality of Hořičky. The race is part of the Primátor CUP running series and the Velká cena východních Čech cup. The routes lead around Hořičky with beautiful views of Kladské pomezí, in gently rolling terrain with surfaces of gravel, forest paths, and minimal asphalt. There are courses for children, a main race of 8 km, and a FIT route of 4 km. The start and registration take place at the area near the football field in Hořičky.

Registration from 8:00 at the area near the football field in Hořičky. Registration closes 30 minutes before the start for children categories, and at 10:00 for adults. Children's races start from 9:00 to 9:35 depending on age categories. The main race and the FIT route start at 10:30. The registration fee includes timing with chip technology, homemade buns, cakes, juice, and tea at the finish. Parking is provided at the football field with instructions from organizers. Prizes for the fastest children, medals and material prizes in adult categories, and monetary prizes for the top three men and women overall in the main race (600 CZK, 400 CZK, 200 CZK).
