Běh napříč republikou, S05 – Frýdštejn-Turnov

The Run Across the Republic is a unique relay event that unites runners from different parts of the Czech Republic towards a common goal in Číhošť, the geographical center of the Czech Republic. The event is not a race, but a collective run at conversational pace with guides on individual sections. Runners can choose any number of sections from a total of 82 carefully designed routes, which pass through diverse terrains from hills to plains, forests, and cities. The aim is not only physical activity but also discovering new places and meeting like-minded people.

The run is not a race; participants run together according to a schedule with guides. Refreshments and support are provided at relay points. Transportation of participants to the next relay point may also be available depending on capacity. The pace is adjusted for hobby runners, slowing down on hills. The Sunday finish in Číhošť is shared for all routes at 17:00.
