Běh na Kozubovou

The Kozubová Run is a traditional mountain race held in Dolní Lomná, run along marked tourist trails with challenging elevation gain. The race starts at the bakery in Dolní Lomná and passes through Polana, the Pod Kykula saddle, up to the tourist hut on Kozubová. The course is approximately 5 km long with an elevation gain of around 500 meters, offering runners a challenge with steep ascents and beautiful mountain views. The race is open to a wide range of categories from juniors to veterans and is known for its friendly atmosphere and a rich raffle for participants.

Registration of competitors takes place at the museum located 300 meters from the start at the bakery. Pre-registered runners will receive a start number with their name and a T-shirt. After the race, there is a rich raffle with prizes from local sponsors. The start is mass for all categories at 10:00 AM. Prizes and monetary awards are announced in individual categories as well as overall for men and women. The race starts at 10:00 AM at the bakery in Dolní Lomná, registration is open until July 21, 2026, with a rich accompanying program, prizes for the top three in each category, accommodation options, and a photo gallery from previous editions.
