Běh na Hraničář

The Border Runner is a traditional and prestigious uphill running race held in the picturesque environment near the forest theater at Úhlava in Nýrsko. The 5 km course with an elevation gain of 380 meters passes through the ruins of Pajrek Castle and ends at the top of Hraničář with a stunning view of Ostrý Hill. The race is part of the Czech Uphill Running Cup and has been held again since 2020 after a three-year break. After the race, participants must return to the start on their own.

Závod je součástí Českého poháru běhu do vrchu. Po závodě je nutné se vrátit ke startu po vlastní ose. Závod zahrnuje hlavní kategorii na 5 km a dětské běhy; registrace probíhá na místě od 9:15 do 10:15; trať je převážně trailová s kopcovitým profilem a výstupem na vrchol Hraničáře.
