Race description
The Hejtman Run is a traditional sporting event held in Chlum u Třeboně in the Třeboň region, always on the second Saturday of October. The main race is a 10 km run with a time limit of 1 hour and 20 minutes, taking place on local roads and dikes of ponds in a picturesque environment. The race is open to the public and takes place amidst regular road traffic with an emphasis on safety and adherence to rules. Shorter races are prepared for children and youth up to 15 years old, with presentations directly on site on the day of the race. The organizer is TJ Jiskra Chlum u Třeboně, z.s.

Registration for competitors takes place on the day of the race from 8:30 to 10:15 at the TJ Jiskra Chlum u Třeboně stadium, where race numbers and chips for the 10 km main race are issued. Participants run at their own risk and must follow traffic rules. For younger competitors up to 18 years old, accompaniment by a legal guardian or a declaration is required. The race is conducted on local roads and a shale track, with registration possible on-site and online. The start is within the stadium area. The races are open to all age groups with different distance options.
