Běh Heulosem - memoriál Jiřího Šmrhy

Heulose Run - Jiří Šmrha Memorial is a traditional running race organized in the Heulos forest park in Jihlava. The race offers various categories and distances for men, women, veterans, juniors, youth, and children, with color-coded circuits along paths and trails in the forest park. The event has a long-standing tradition since 1977 and is part of the Vysočina Runners series. The start is in the afternoon at the Na Stoupách athletics stadium, with routes suitable for a wide range of runners from the youngest to veterans.

Categories include men, women, veterans, juniors, youth, and children with different race distances. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each category, and youth receive medals and material prizes. This is the 49th edition of the race, supported by the statutory city of Jihlava and the Czech Sports Office. The race is open to the general public, offers trail routes in nature, and is part of the Vysočina Running Cup. The date is set for October 16, 2026.
