Barokomaraton

Barokomaraton is the 19th edition of a cross country run held in the picturesque environment of the town of Plasy and the valley of the Střela River. The race is suitable for both experienced runners and those who run for fun and want to enjoy the beautiful autumn nature. Participants can expect courses passing through forest and field paths with regular refreshment stations. The organizers also prepare a cultural program, entertainment for children, and refreshments, making the Barokomaraton a pleasant day full of sport and relaxation for the whole family.

Registration of competitors takes place at the Velká Louka area in Plasy on September 4th from 18:00 to 20:30 (ultra until 23:30) and on September 5th from 7:30 to 9:20. The time limit is 6 hours for the marathon and 16 hours for the ultra 100 km. Dogs are not allowed to run (canicross). It is recommended to use your own foldable cup at refreshment stations; a limited number of cups are available for purchase on site. There is an option for team relay for groups of three runners on the 10 km, half marathon, and marathon courses. The races include various distances, including ultra 100 km, and are suitable for runners of all levels. The event also offers cultural and accompanying activities, including an expo and entertainment for children.
