The Krušné hory 2026 race is a technical trail run that takes you through the beauty of the Krušné Mountains and a former mining landscape listed by UNESCO. The route starts in Abertamy and passes the former Eva mine, Jelení, Švýcarská chata on Plešivec, Merklín, the former settlement of Kaff, Pstruží and the ski area before reaching the finish. It offers three courses of varying lengths and elevation gains, suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. The race takes place in all weather conditions, and participants receive a commemorative medal and refreshments on the course and at the finish.

The race has a time limit of 4 hours; after this time, a runner is marked DNF. Participants can store small items at the registration tent. Recommended equipment includes a windbreaker and a charged mobile phone with the Záchranka app. The entry fee includes a professionally marked course, race bib, chip timing, a commemorative medal, and refreshments on the course and at the finish. The event takes place in all weather conditions, and participation is at your own risk.
